Please join us for our weekly Sunday morning meditation practice of Shamatha (mindfulness meditation). Our Sunday morning practice and discussion sessions are free.

We will start promptly at 9 am. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early if you are new to our Center, and/or if you would like some basic meditation instruction prior to sitting. Please e-mail Susan with questions. Meditation instruction is free.

We will sit from 9-9:50 am. This is a silent, sitting practice, either on the floor on a cushion or in a chair. If you are not accustomed to a long sitting practice, you are welcome to get up to walk outside of room. Each meditation session begins with short chants relating to our aspirations for freedom from suffering for ourselves and all beings.

From 9:50-10:20 am, we serve tea and snacks, and share thoughts about our experiences on the path of mind training.

From 10:30-noon, there will often be introductory Buddhism and meditation practice courses offered. Please check the main Nalandabodhi Connecticut calendar for more information and to register.
