EVENT DETAILS

Progressive Stages of Meditation on Emptiness

Sun., April 3, 2022
10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Rinpoche teaches on this classic text by Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche. Progressive Stages of Meditation on Emptiness presents analytical meditation practices associated with the main schools of Buddhist philosophy with their progressively more subtle and refined views on the essential nature of reality. Rinpoche’s commentary provides students with the means to realize the nature of reality through a series of meditation practices beginning with coarse, commonsense understanding and progressing through increasingly profound practices designed to help practitioners arrive at complete and perfect understanding.  Each stage in the process prepares the mind for the next stage. Rinpoche practices several of the meditation techniques with the students. Extensive and lively Q&A sessions help clarify the details of the teachings.

If you plan to attend these teachings, your understanding of the material will be much improved if you purchase and refer to Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso’s book, Progressive Stages of Meditation on Emptiness. This book is available at a variety of locations, including at Nalanda Store.
