Rumtek Monastery holds a special place in the heart of Nalandabodhi. Rumtek was established by His Holiness the 16th Karmapa, was the home of Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche from childhood until young adulthood, and houses the Karma Shri Nalanda Institute of Higher Buddhist studies where several of our Nalandabodhi teachers were formally trained. Offering support to Bodhi Seeds is a way of giving back to the community that has courageously preserved and passed on the lineage of teachings that Nalandabodhi now offers in the 21st century.
